Lots has gone on in the last couple days, but I still feel like I had a not so exciting weekend. Weird. Thursday night I went out to Baba's after swimming to see The Sidewalks play with Dead Airwaves and Something Delicious. Something Delicious was pretty awesome. I'd have a hard time describing what they sound like, but it's loud! (So loud that I had to retreat after two songs to save my hearing.) The Sidewalks put on a great show and it seemed the crowd was even more into it than usual.Friday night Chris wanted to go out for Gahan beer. Jenn was out with a few friends so she got us a big table to share. Chris, Noel, Josh and I split two little buddies and a LOT of snack food. I think this is the third or fourth weekend in a row I've gone to the Gahan. (Some weekends going twice!) Such a great spot. Me and Noel just kinda hung out at the house for the rest of the night. He's thinking of moving in sometime, which should be pretty cool.
I spent most of yesterday working on a big programming job, and then last night I went to Nathan's barbecue birthday party with Chris and Jenn. We watched Hot Rod and Detroit Rock City and had a few drinks, then around eleven went out to the Wave for "drink the bar dry" night. I saw Alison and Gillian there, and then later ran into Don and Zhu. It ended up not being an overly exciting night, but I'm kinda glad I finally got to check out the Wave. (Even though it's now closed for the Summer so I won't be going back any time soon.) I got home around two in the morning and decided to watch 28 Days Later since I had the upstairs to myself. (Andrew and Tasha are in Cuba until later this week.)
