3rd Wow it has been forever since I updated! Today is my last day of Christmas vacation. The time went by so fast! Joey and Merina came down on the 21st of December to stay for the holidays. I've been off work since the 24th so I spent the first few days in Summerside at my mom's place. Christmas was pretty good, it was nice having Merina visit. Quite a lot went on but it's hard to put it in order... We hung out at Justin's place a few times and played some Beatles Rock Band. Joey, Merina, Ryan and I hung out with Caolan and his girlfriend in Charlottetown one day, and then visited Jeff for a bit that evening. Andrew and I drove back to Charlottetown in a bit of a snowstorm at the start of this week after Joey and Merina left with Ryan for the drive back to Toronto. (And then Winnipeg by plane.)

New Years Eve I went out to Baba's with Noel, Andrew and Sarah. (Sarah is visiting from New York for a week.) The Sidewalks were playing so Chris and Jenn and their friends were out, and I met up with a few other friends I didn't expect to see. Baba's stayed open an hour late which was pretty cool as we only got there a little after midnight.

Last night we had a party for Kalon's 20th birthday at my place. Quite a few people stopped in so it worked out pretty good. A little after two in the morning we went for a walk around, which wasn't such a great idea since it was pretty rainy and cold out.

Oh I've finally bought my first guitar. It isn't working out so well so far but it's a pale yellow Squier Telecaster (cheapest one available really...) and a little Orange practice amp. There's something wrong with one of the two though cause there's quite a bit of fuzz when playing, and the sound keeps cutting out, and the guitar had a few defects, and a string broke while Nyall was playing it last night (it's hardly been used yet...) I took the guitar in to the store yesterday and it worked fine when they tried it so I'm gonna have to have them take a look at the amp next I guess. It'd be cool to get this figured out though.
